Help a Capital Child celebrate the opening of UCLH Cancer Centre
Weekend Capital FM DJ Pandora joins Programme Director, Rob D’Ovidio, at the official opening of Teenage Cancer Trust’s unit at the state of the art UCLH Cancer Centre in London. Help a Capital Child fundraising has not only had an impact on this revolutionary unit, but as a result of the Cancer Centre treating these numbers of young people for day care treatment, it has made space on our other unit at UCH for critically ill young people who otherwise may have had to be treated on adult or children’s wards.
Help a Capital Child Appeal 2012

The Wanted, Ed Sheeran, and Keith Lemon were just a few of the celebrity guests who took to the airwaves across the UK to lend their support to the appeal. Auction lots included the chance to walk the star-studded red carpet at the Breaking Dawn premiere and attend an exclusive screening of the movie, whilst a backstage meet & greet with Example at the Stereosonic Festival in Sydney was one of the prize draws up for grabs.
