Let your fancies run riot...

Description

Teenage Cancer Trust is delighted to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries for ‘Fancy’, the capital’s new dressing up spectacle. Fancy plans on reinventing the easily attained escapism of fancy dress to an invigorated generation intent on shedding their existing lives and nine to fives, for a more exciting alter ego…just for the night!

The Fancy spectacle bursts into full technicolour glory on Saturday February 6th at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (9pm-3am), one of the capital’s most prestigious and timeless locations. Its classical architecture along with its nostalgic balconies provides an intimate and dramatic setting for Fancy’s debut spectacle. “Let your fancies run riot” for the evening at this no-holds barred event, where everyone is invited to come as what they would really like to be, throwing caution to the wind and letting loose at the first ever Fancy party.

Staging an innovative production brought to you by the award winning Mix Maestro, Beat 'a' Maxx, who shamelessly scythes through exhilarating visuals and dynamic audio to stage a display of inventive and kaleidoscopic DJ-ing prowess.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for £12.50 from www.fancyclub.co.uk and 50p from every sale will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. Fancy conjures up a magical innocent world with a host of weird and wonderful costumes on display, and where you can also meet the stars of Fancy TV and get your chance to be cast in the next show. With no rules in the land of Fancy, come as whatever or whoever you want, and the winner of the most creative and imaginative outfit on the night will receive a cash prize of £250.
