I am going to be cycling 2161 miles (The distance of this years Tour de France) in less than 4 weeks in France in order to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

I am going to be cycling 2161 miles in less than 4 weeks in France in order to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. I will be doing 3 mountain stages from the Tour de France which are incorporated into the route as well. I will be doing the route in 2 sections. One with a friend Tim Gauntlett and another with a friend Vaughan Holme and other staff and old pupils from my school, Christs Hospital.Please support at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jakes-Tour-de-France/339630129385810
The event is now public, if you would like to join for a day then that good, if you want to come on the whole tour then thats brilliant.

Training
gym is going well and getting lots of sponsorship now. Thanks to all those that have sponsored me!
Have now had the county times writing about me, nothing special but it is a start.
Spending about 15 hours a week in the gym, getting a bit boring but i can feel that i am getting better. Looking forward to summer, got a few races lined up before that though. Fingers crossed i wont come last.
