A four day run over approximately 72 Miles from Canterbury to Kingston upon Thames in memory of my daughter Zoe Marie who passed away on 17th Match 2009.

Description

On March 17th 2009 our very precious daughter Zoe Marie Stone sadly passed away after suffering a short illness with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.Zoe had fought with her health from a young age after a long battle against Scoliosis for which she finally underwent major Spinal surgery to have Titanium pins placed down her spine. Following this she worked extremely hard to catch up with her education and finally got the results she needed to see her get a place at Canterbury University in 2008.Zoe was Diagnosed with Leukemia on Wednesday 25th February 2009 and fell asleep on Tuesday 17th March, just 21 days later.During Easter weekend a group of approximately 5 of us will be raising money for The Teenage Cancer Trust by running a gruelling 72ish miles from Canterbury to Kingston Upon Thames. The route is yet to be finalised but is likely to take a route parallel to the A2 and through London. The run will take place over a four day period starting on Friday 2nd April and finishing on Monday 5th April 2010. We have been in training now for some time preparing ourselves for what I can only describe as a bloody long run. For those who want to get involved but do not feel they can run the full distance we will be setting up partial distances for them to complete to aid our cause. My 11 year old son Michael has committed to run the final 10Km to help raise money in memory of his sister, he to has been busy training completing a 5Km run every Saturday morning at Bushy Park. Please help us raise as much money as we can to help others to fight this evil desease with the support of the Teenage Cancer Trust. All donations no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I would just like to say a big big thank you to everyone who took part in Saturdays auction of promises at Hook Evangelical Church. As far as I am aware the event raised over £500 for Teenage Cancer Trust which was a great achievement. The event wasn't just about the people who donated money to the cause, without those of you who pledged their services the event could not have taken place.

Thank you very much to you all for the support you have given.
