My tremedous trio will be getting tattoos ink'd onto our skins forever in order to raise LOTS of pennies for TCT! :)
Description
Myself, my crazy mate Dan and my brother Rob are hoping to raise as much money as possible to donate towards to Teenage Cancer Trust by getting a KERAZY tattoo inkd onto our skin forever. We're holding a competition (which is open to anybody who would like to take part) for people to design the tattoo for us.. all we ask is that the TCT logo is inaugurated into it somehow. And in due course we will pick our favourite ones and mix them up a bit, so everyone has a bit of their work involved!We are currently working on posters to advertise our event, and will be dishing them out all over the place to raise as much awareness as possible to this VERY worthy cause!I work at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham so the YPU unit at QEHB will be my main port of call when it comes to advertising/raising awareness within patient's families etc but will also be handing out fliers/posters/leaflets/booklets in Birmingham City Centre and shaking my charity buckets at unsuspecting members of the public, whilst standing underneath a giant TCT billboard.. hard to miss us, right?!So get involved, and PLEASE do as much as you can to help us raise awareness and gain as much publicity and attention as possible!!Thank You!Kate Maffin.

METTING THE FUNDRAISING MANAGER.
I met with Laura Bainbridge today,(Regional Fundraising Manager for TCT) and have started to make plans as to what exactly we are going to have done, and how we are going to promote our event.
We've decided that the best way to gain maximum publicity is by leaving it to the public to help us design our tattoos.. So if you fancy yourself as a Kat Von Dee/Ami James type character, then feel free to send your design to Kate_maffin@live.com or alternatively post it on here (if you can?) and I will consider having your artwork etched onto my skin forever.
We are currently working on posters that we will be distributing all over the gaff with as much info as possible!
I'll update this blog with pictures of them ASAP!
