The Great North Run
This annual event has become the biggest half marathon in the world. This event is the most iconic half marathon in the world and will be broadcast live on BBC television!
The Journey begins in the centre of Newcastle, leading you out of the city and over the Tyne Bridge, finishing in South Shields. In 2011, an amazing 54,000 people took place in the race, with nearly 100 of those people being part of Team Teenage Cancer Trust. Why not join the team for 2012?!

Our charity places have now sold out. please contact us to be placed on the waiting list. The registration fee for a charity place is £25 and we ask you to raise a minimum of £350.
Ballot Place
If you were lucky enough to get a place through the ballot and would like to join our team, there will not be a minimum sponsorship, we just ask you to raise what you can! Email us to join the team!
