The team have all taken part in challenges and know what it's like to fundraise in today's climate. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge and are here to answer any questions you may have whether they be about fundraising, training or where the loo's are along the course!
Join Team Teenage Cancer Trust!
If you were lucky enough to secure your own place in the marathon and would like to join our team, there's no sponsorship target - we just leave it up to you
If you missed out on a ballot place but would still like to run for Teenage Cancer Trust, our applications for charity places have now closed, however we can still help! The Brighton Marathon 2013 is the perfect alternative to the London Marathon as it's the weekend before so your training schedules can stay the same, the sponsorship target is much lower at £650 and you still get EXACTLY the same support from us! Volunteer at the Virgin London Marathon 2013:
The London Marathon is an incredible day out for all, with the (hopefully!) shining sun and the inspirational runners it’s guaranteed to be a day you’ll enjoy. Teenage Cancer Trust have an amazing team of over 150 runners who are taking part in the race and we’re looking for volunteers to help us make the day really special for them. We need people to be at the start line at Blackheath Common to wish our runners luck and provide them with last minute equipment, to join our cheering squad to ensure we give our runners the loudest cheer on the course, and to be at the finish line at Pall Mall with a big smile and directions to our Cool Down Party! You can choose what you do and how long you help out for - please email [email protected] or call Emily on 020 7612 0720 if you’re interested in joining Team Teenage Cancer Trust for the day.
"Thank you to all the supporters who were positioned at mile 9 yesterday. as I ran past, I was spotted and given what must have been one of the loudest cheers on the course that day. You guys were brilliant and spurred me on to finish in 1hr59mins. I had a great day." Steve Parkes, Great North Run 2012.
