Hevy raises thousands for Teenage Cancer Trust

After a fun-filled weekend of music, grafitti artists and unexpected Carly Rae-Jepsen loving, this year's Hevy Music Festival has come to a close.

Teenage Cancer Trust raised an amazing £1,900.26 over the weekend, which includes guest list donations, raffle tickets sales and wristbands as well as generous donations from festival-goers. Thank you to all who supported the charity, our amazing volunteers and to all of those involved with Hevy Music Festival and Big Deal Clothing for making this happen - we really appreciate all of your help, support and dedication!

Support Teenage Cancer Trust at Hevy and win BIG!

Teenage Cancer Trust will be on-site at Hevy this weekend and in exchange for your support, you might just win a prize!

Fancy getting your hands on some Hevy Music Festival merchandise? How about a pair of tickets to some of the hottest gigs this autumn? Well, both of these could be yours and more if you take part in the Teenage Cancer Trust raffle this weekend!

We'll be running two separate raffles, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. All you need to do is keep an eye out for the volunteers in red and ask if you can buy a ticket for just £1 (or £5 per strip). All of the money raised will go a long way in supporting teenagers and young adults with cancer throughout the UK. Make sure you leave your full name and mobile number because the draws will take place on stage at 9:40pm on Saturday (between Meshuggah and Glassjaw) and 8:40pm on Sunday (between Madball and Converge).

In honour of our involvement with this year's Hevy Music Festival at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, we have created an official Hevy playlist. These tunes are essential listning if you're heading to the festival over the weekend of 03-05 August.

Red Bull Stage line-up complete

Some extra salsa has been added to the Hevy burrito in the form of the following bands who'ill be joining the Red Bull Stage line-up:

Brutality Will Prevail, Broken Teeth, Demoraliser, Napoleon, Brotherhood of the Lake, Grader, Acoda, Page 44 and Never Means Maybe will play on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th August, joining the likes of Veils, Adelaide, I Divide, Vinnie Caruana, &U&I, The Smoking Hearts and Hawk Eyes.

Hevy Music Festival goes indoors!

It's less than 4 weeks until Hevy's monstrous line-up hits the UK, but with no summer to be seen they've come up with a solution to avoid getting rained off...

In true British style, the weather has been a little, err... shall we say temperamental recently and whilst Hevy can't control the climate, they have been working on a plan to make sure it doesn't affect the most important weekend this "summer".

Using production wizardry and festival witchcraft, they've put a roof over every stage for this year's Hevy Festival! Here's the science - they've merged the 4 existing stages into 3, with 2 alternating Main Stages under one roof (which means there are now NO TIME CLASHES for all major bands) and the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage boasting its own tent. All this without compromising set times!

So, in summary:

• same incredible line-up

• better looking, better sounding, weatherproof stages

• and NO CLASHES for all major bands

Hevy Music Festival to partner with Teenage Cancer Trust!

Hevy Music Festival in Kent is running from the 03-06 August.

We're excited to announce that Hevy Music Festival will be partnering with Teenage Cancer Trust at this year's festival. Boasting 17 UK exclusive performances from the likes of Andrew W.K., Descendents and Glassjaw, Hevy is set to be a real highlight of the summer, featuring music from the best of the best in rock and hardcore.

Hevy will be collecting donations on all guest list and press passes for Teenage Cancer Trust and we'll also have an information booth on site.
