Two sleeps 'til Warped Tour!

With not long to go now until the first Vans Warped Tour in the UK in over 10 years, we thought we'd let you know a little bit about what we've got going on at Ally Pally and how you can help raise money in the process.

As one of the few charity partners at Warped Tour UK this year, Teenage Cancer Trust will have a stand on-site with signings from Yashin, It! Boys and Family Force 5, a raffle to win some awesome Warped UK merchandise and other swag (including CDs and DVDs), as well a T-shirt Amnesty where you can drop off your old and unwanted band T-shirts, potentially picking up a bargain in the process! We will also have Teenage Cancer Trust merchandise and awesome posters for sale. Every penny raised at Warped Tour will go a long way in helping us support teenagers and young adults with cancer throughout the UK.

Don’t forget, you can also pick up the official Warped UK playlist in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust from fairsharemusic.com. Featuring the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, New Found Glory, Less Than Jake and Bowling for Soup, for every playlist or individual track downloaded from here Teenage Cancer Trust will receive a donation (48p per playlist / 4p per song). Not only that, but if you like what you hear and want to get more, you can head over to this link where you'll find discounted albums by some of the artists playing, including 3OH!3, Awolnation and Funeral for a Friend.

Teenage Cancer Trust to attend Warped Tour UK

We're extremely excited to announce that Teenage Cancer Trust is involved in this year's Warped Tour UK, the first to head to these shores in 13 years!

The legendary Vans Warped Tour will be making its first stop in the UK in 13 years this November and Teenage Cancer Trust are going to be there! Last seen in the UK in 1999, Vans Warped Tour UK 2012 will see over 10,000 music lovers descend on North London’s Alexandra Palace on Saturday November 10th.

Heading up the bill are Welsh chart-topping rockers Lostprophets, who take their stunning new album ‘Weapons’ across the UK, and former Vans Warped Tour US headliners Bring Me The Horizon, who bring their only UK show of 2012 to the Vans Warped UK stage.

Joining them is an impressive array of acts spanning the alternative genres, both established artists and the hottest new talent. From pop-punk legends New Found Glory and ska-punk heroes Less Than Jake to the new breed of acts, including Man Overboard and The Story So Far who kick off the Warped UK fever and pave the way for November 10th with the Road to Warped tour. And it doesn’t end there, with appearances confirmed from the likes of 3OH!3, Awolnation, Architects, Family Force 5, It! Boys and Yashin.

The Vans Warped Tour is well established as America’s longest-running and best touring festival, breaking up-and-coming talent as well as both creating and showcasing major established artists since 1995. The nationally-renowned festival has cemented its place in history by playing a major role in bringing punk rock / skate / action sports culture from the underground to the forefront of global youth culture, while at the same time helping those in need and being the first tour to consistently use groundbreaking environmental techniques every year on the road.

Although far removed from the summer sunshine of its US cousin, Vans Warped UK will recreate the historical Warped vibe, with UK Vert Skate Championships, artist merchandise village, signing sessions, stalls and non-profit displays on offer alongside the dozens of bands playing across the four stages. Keeping with Warped tradition, the running order will be decided on the day, with set times posted on a giant board as doors open. Fans are advised to get down early to ensure they don’t miss any of their favourite acts.
