Justin Bieber chooses Teenage Cancer Trust as his UK charity!
We’ve been selected as the official UK charity partner to benefit from global phenomenon Justin Bieber and his ambitious Believe Charity Drive.
Justin is calling on fans around the world to contribute to specific charities, launching an ambitious effort to amass millions in total donations. In the UK, the only official charity partner is Teenage Cancer Trust. Justin posted on Facebook about his support for the charity and encouraged his UK fans to dig deep and help young people fight cancer.
Fans can donate directly to Teenage Cancer Trust in a one-off payment or set up a personal ‘Believe Charity Drive’ fundraising account which they can use to gather donations from their friends and family. Fans are encouraged to set themselves targets and challenges in order to raise funds for their page which will contribute the ‘Believe Charity Drive’ overall total.
On Thursday 26 January Justin showed his support for Teenage Cancer Trust on his Facebook page. Overnight the response for the charity was huge with fans posting messages of support on the charity page, the number of fans on Teenage Cancer Trust’s site increased by over an incredible 5,000 people.
Justin says: “The BELIEVE CHARITY DRIVE directly benefits charities that are making a difference in the world. Please join me in our quest to raise millions of dollars by the release of my new 2012 album, BELIEVE. I know that with your help we can make a change.”
