Brighter Later in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust
After a successful launch in January, the best new bands and hottest DJs return to London's Buffalo Bar to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Brighter Later is back at the Buffalo Bar this month after a hugely successful debut at the venue in January.
As with all Brighter Later nights, the money raised on the evening will go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust. So who's lined-up this time around?
Torches Torches are an East London four-piece who The Line of Best Fit describe as “a spectacularly entertaining band whose live shows seem akin to an exorcism”. So come on down and exorcise your winter demons with us to songs like ‘VTOO’, about flying bombs falling on Mile End Park.
You and Others Around You Dapper frontman Dan Robinski brings YAOAY to Brighter Later off the back of a series of brilliant shows around Camden and Shoreditch. If you’re a fan of Pulp and Talking Heads (and frankly, who isn’t?) we predict you’ll go wild for these guys… and so will others around you.
There will also be DJs from paradYse Records, RockFeedback and The Line of Best Fit manning the decks and keeping the party going until the early hours.
Tickets are just £5 online with limited availability on the door. Avoid disappointment and buy yours in advance from wegottickets.com.
Brighter Later Returns to Islington
We're utterly delighted to announce Brighter Later is returning to the Buffalo Bar in Highbury and Islington for one hell of a party, all in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
The feel-good factor is that every penny raised will go to the amazing work of Teenage Cancer Trust who are devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. Four of the hottest new bands feature on the line-up:
DEEP SEA ARCADE Ethereal guitars and lyrical quirks will transport the listener to a dark, watery world of mystery and enchantment, and leave their heads swimming with unforgettable melodies. Sydney’s Deep Sea Arcade's reverberated pop recalls guitar based music from across the ages yet with a character and charm that is undeniably unique.
GENTLEMEN Although little is known about London-based five-piece Gentlemen, they’re already starting to earn themselves a reputation for their flawless psychadelia-coated live show.
THE NIGHT JARS A cocktail of audio chaos to be consumed with caution.
DEEP MEN The end of music.
Knife Crime In Barcelona will be spinning tunes all night long, too.
Tickets to Brighter Later cost £5 in advance and are available from WeGotTickets, if you fancy paying on the door it'll set you back £6.
