Duchess of York and Princess Beatrice open groundbreaking teenage cancer unit in Surrey

Sarah, Duchess of York and Princess Beatrice, opened one of Teenage Cancer Trust’s largest and most impressive state-of-the-art specialist cancer units at The Royal Marsden in Surrey. They were also joined by long-standing charity patron and The Who frontman, Roger Daltrey CBE.

After 27 months of construction and fitting and three year’s worth of fundraising which raised a staggering £3.5 million, this groundbreaking 13 bed Teenage Cancer Trust unit in Sutton, will be supporting 16-24 year olds from across Sussex, Surrey and Kent in their fight against cancer.
