Rock Your Shades

Rock Your Shades is Teenage Cancer Trust's exciting new fundraising campaign, where supporters can help raise awareness and funds for Teenage Cancer Trust by wearing their shades for the day and making a donation. This year's main event took place on Friday 6 May 2011 and on 17 June in schools in Scotland.

Thank you to all of our supporters who have rocked their shades so far this year, and for those who haven’t – it’s not too late! Rock Your Shades is a summer-long campaign, simply click on the ‘Ideas and posters’ tab on the left for inspiration, and promotional materials for your fundraiser, and get going!

Topman are proud to be the official supporter of Rock Your Shades and have produced 4 exclusive designs of sunglasses specially for the occasion. The sunglasses have been on sale from 18th April in all Topman stores in UK and Ireland. click here to view the range.

Teenage Cancer Trust is very pleased to that Home Retail Group (Argos & Homebase) are also supporting Rock Your Shades as part of a 2 year partnership. We have created a fantastic Rock Your Shades air-freshener which is on sale across the UK & Ireland, with all profits going directly to Teenage Cancer Trust.

For the more creative / adventurous supporters - this is a great way to get crafty! Dig out some old shades, get hold of some ribbon, glitter, feathers, sparkles, to create the hottest eyewear you can imagine!

Bake Your Shades

Are you a Masterchef in the making, or have you already proved your culinary cache? Bake Your Shades is your time to shine - from gingerbread men to fairy cakes, accessorise your sweet tooth with some iced shades and sell them to the world!

Fancy Your Shades!

Are you a wannabe rock-god? Always had a thing for Topgun? This is your chance to host a themed fancy dress party and invite all your sunglass-toting icons - from the Blues Brothers to Maverick, and Elton to GaGa.

For Scout and Guide leaders

Looking for some great activities for your group? Rock Your Shades can be interpreted in a number of ways, and generate loads of activity ideas. Check out the Ideas and posters section we've provided some suggestions, and created event posters to help promote your activity. We'd love you to use these ideas to fundraise for us, but we really just want you to get involved!
