An evening of comedy kicked off the seven star-studded nights with performances from Liverpudlian stand-up and comedy award winner, John Bishop, Edinburgh Festival favourites and TV regulars Kevin Bridges, and Greg Davies, star of The Inbetweeners & We Are Klang.
Brit Awards presenter James Corden, one of the most exciting new acts on the circuit Seann Walsh, and Shooting Stars legend Angelos Epithemiou AKA Dan Skinner also joined the lineup.
This was the third time James Corden has appeared at Concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust at The Royal Albert Hall and said, “It’s going to be an incredible night! The atmosphere at the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs is always electric and we’ve got fantastic line up, I’m really looking forward to it!”
Jason Manford also joined the line up for the second time. He appeared for Teenage Cancer Trust, playing for the first time last year. Jason, renowned for his charming effortless and delivery, hosted Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford and Live at The Apollo and has starred in Walk on the Wild Side, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and The Channel 4 Comedy Gala. His place as one the UK’s favourite comedy stars has also been firmly cemented by his hugely successful National tour, which precedes his upcoming 2011 Arena tour.
