Pulp - 31 March 2012
Pulp
Pulp, the band that defined the sound of a generation with classic albums including His ‘N’ Hers, This is Hardcore and Mercury Music Prize winner Different Class, will perform on Saturday 31 March. Romantic pop duo Cat's Eyes will be supporting.
Recently awarded the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution to Music NME Award, the original line up (Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey and Mark Webber) will perform some of their greatest hits from the last two decades.
There are still a few choir tickets left for the show available from the Royal Albert Hall box office.
Cat's Eyes
Cat’s Eyes’ (Rachel Zeffira and Faris Badwan) eponymous debut album was one of the most critically acclaimed released of 2011, a romantic pop masterpiece filled with “twisted, emotional soundscapes Phil Spector might have dreamed up” (The Daily Telegraph) that was “genuinely moving and haunting” (The Guardian). This is so far their only scheduled live show in 2012.
