Every year, Aqua Shard teams up with a fashion designer to create their annual Christmas tree, to feature in the restaurant throughout the festive period. British designer, Holly Fulton, has this year created DecoDance - a Christmas tree inspired by the 1920s!
As well as bringing festive cheer to the restaurant throughout the holidays, it is also a chance to raise money for a charity chosen by the restaurant and designer. Holly Fulton and Aqua Shard have chosen Teenage Cancer Trust as the charity partner for 2019.
Throughout the festive period, from 14 November to 1 January, customers will be able to donate an additional £1 of their bill to Teenage Cancer Trust. 50% of the sales from a festive inspired non-alcoholic drink and dessert will also go to the grand total.
We're so pleased to have been chosen by Aqua Shard and Holly Fulton as this year's charity partner.
"The Teenage Cancer Trust team won't let cancer cancel Christmas," said Liz Tait, Director of Fundraising at Teenage Cancer Trust. "Our specialist nurses and youth support teams work so hard to keep Christmas special for young people."
"They make sure that those well enough can spend Christmas Day with loved ones and spread festive cheer for the many others who will be staying on our specialist units this year. But none of this could happen without the incredible support of businesses like Aqua Shard, and we can't thank them enough."
