Dobbies has chosen Teenage Cancer Trust as its first ever annual national charity partner and has been getting in the festive spirit for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Dobbies stores around the UK hosted four fundraising events, beginning with a Christmas charity night where guests could see demonstrations on building a living wreath and creating Christmas terrariums and traditional planted containers.

Next came the arrival of Santa, along with his team of elves, from the North Pole to take up residence in his fabulously festive grotto in Dobbies stores! Father Christmas' arrival was followed by a fireworks fundraising night and, last but not least, Ladies Night! Guests enjoyed fizz and canapés on arrival as well as a variety of entertainment, pampering treatments, and exclusive offers available throughout the evening.

Customers visiting Dobbies over the Christmas period have also been able to make a festive wish or leave a seasonal message on the Dobbies wish tree for a minimum £1 donation, all in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Over 200 incredible volunteers supported Dobbies' festive fundraising events, which have so far raised an incredible £160,000!

Linda Noon, Deputy Director of Fundraising at Teenage Cancer Trust, said:

We’re really grateful to the team at Dobbies for organising yet another fantastic season of events. Ticket sales will help support our work with young people diagnosed with cancer. The generosity of Dobbies’ customers is always amazing and once again it’s an absolute pleasure to be a part of the events.
