One marathon is enough of a challenge for most, but not Chris Jonns. The Lucky Seven chief has just finished the incredible World Marathon Challenge - 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days - all for young people with cancer!

World Marathon Challenge route

The marathon of all marathons is a mammoth physical, psychological and logistical challenge that saw Chris complete marathons in Nove, Cape Town, Perth, Dubai, Madrid, Santiago and Miami, racking up 183.5 miles in total.

Chris in the iconic 777 capWe're so honoured to have been chosen by Chris and Lucky Seven, and watching him taken on the toughest challenge in the world has been incredible (and caused some second-hand exhaustion!).

His support, and your donations, will help us continue to be there for young people with cancer, supporting them with our specialist units and our nursing and support service.

Throughout the challenge, Chris has been sporting one of Lucky Seven's iconic 777 caps - fitting for such a challenge! As well as fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust through the challenge, Lucky Seven will be further supporting our work by donation all profits from the sales of the 777 collection to us.

Jane Ashton, Head of Music and Entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust, said:

We can't thank Chris enough for taking on this monster challenge of a lifetime in support of young people with cancer. What an incredible achievement both on a personal and a philanthropic level! Every young person with cancer should have access to specialised care and support and the funds Chris has worked so hard to raise will go a long way in helping us be there for everyone who needs us. We hope Chris is now taking a well-earned rest and his running trainers are back in the cupboard - for now! A heartfelt thank you from us all.
