We need to raise a final £200,000 to fund the £600,000 five-bed facility that will provide care and support for 13-18 year olds diagnosed with cancer in Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and surrounding areas.

I was very proud when Teenage Cancer Trust asked me to become involved in the East Midlands Appeal a few years ago so it’s great to be back and able to lend my name to this final project also. Being a teenager is hard enough without having to face cancer. I have seen first-hand what a difference the charity’s units make and I am honoured that I can now call myself an ambassador.
Consisting of two single en-suite rooms and a three bed bay, the new unit will bring young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in an environment tailored to their needs.
