Justin and Freddie hung out with the young people receiving treatment, their families and the specialist medical staff on the unit. They also spent time in the recreation area – which features a pool table, TVs, keyboards, electric drum kit and guitars.

Justin said:

I'd just like to say how humbling and amazing it was to meet these young people who have faced, and are facing, so much but who all seemed so full of smiles and positivity. We were made to feel so welcome in a place that can't be the most comfortable environment to welcome people in to. For me it really put into perspective that however trivial something such as music might seem at times, it also has an undeniable power, from the strength and joy it brings people on a daily basis, to the money raised directly through Teenage Cancer Trust
