We’re delighted to have made Tim's involvement official as he becomes an Ambassador for us.
"I’m happy to do anything I can to help Teenage Cancer Trust, and am proud to have been made an Ambassador. My brother died of cancer when he was 37, and I can tell you, cancer is lonely. I can’t imagine how much worse it must be to have cancer as a teenager. Cut off from friends due to gruelling treatment, they can be isolated, thinking there are no other young people like them out there.
I’ve visited a Teenage Cancer Trust unit and I saw how well the money is spent. There is such a positive atmosphere there. It was inspiring how upbeat all the teenagers I met were.
