Find Your Sense of Tumour
Over 18s

Join us on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November 2021

Join us at this year’s virtual Find Your Sense of Tumour for over 18 year olds.

About the event

After pioneering the first-ever virtual Find Your Sense of Tumour for over 18 year olds last year, we’re excited to be running the event again Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November 2021.

FYSOT is your chance to have a laugh, get advice and be inspired with other young people your age who’ve had cancer.

Take part in online activities, speak to like-minded people, watch inspirational talks and attend workshops on topics including exercise, nutrition, fertility and careers.

You’ll get to know other young people who understand what you’re going through – and there’s also plenty of time offline to relax and unwind.

Join us for a life-changing weekend!

Who can attend?

To attend Find Your Sense of Tumour, you must have received a cancer diagnosis and:

  • be aged 18 or over by 27 November 2021
  • have finished treatment within the last two years.

Exemptions will be made for young people on maintenance treatment or palliative-stage patients if your treatment team feel it will be appropriate for you to attend.

What does the weekend look like?

We’ve worked hard to make sure the virtual version of FYSOT is just as interactive, inspirational and fun-filled as ever.

Throughout the weekend there’ll be a huge selection of resources and virtual workshops available on demand.

About FYSOT

Find Your Sense of Tumour is your chance to have a laugh (and learn a few things!) with other people your age who've had cancer too. In other words they ‘get you’. No brave face needed. No filter. You might even get to know someone who’s had the same cancer as you.

This year, FYSOT will take place online once again – rest assured we’re working hard to use what we learned last year and make sure the virtual weekend is just as interactive, inspirational and fun-filled as ever!

What is FYSOT like?

"It almost felt like we were sat together in person. It’s great that I’ve extended my friendship circle with people who can relate to what I’ve been through."
