Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. By taking on our More Than A Marathon challenge, you can help us be there for every one of them.
More Than A Marathon is an active challenge to complete 28 miles in 28 days in May 2023 to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Why 28 miles?
Each of those miles – two more than a marathon! - represents one of our 28 dedicated units in hospitals around the country, where our nurses and youth workers provide the specialist care and support young people with cancer need.
You don’t need to be a fitness fanatic to take part – this flexible, month-long challenge means you can rack up the miles at your own pace, in your own way. No hours of training to prepare. Just doing something amazing and getting some fresh air every day.
It’s a great way to get active, and best of all, you’ll have the buzz of knowing you’ve helped make sure support is there for young people at the toughest time of their lives.
