Right now, we’re fearful for the future of young people with cancer.
Healthcare services are close to breaking point. Waiting times are increasing. And diagnosis is taking longer.
Today, and every day, seven more young people will hear those devastating words “you have cancer”.
Without the right support, going through cancer will steal everything that makes them young. Their hopes. Their relationships. Their health. Their life.
But you can help them.
Run, jog or walk 28 miles in September – that’s one mile for each of our hospital wards across the UK – and help make sure no young person has to face cancer alone.
You don’t have to be a fitness fanatic to take part, and it couldn’t be simpler. Because the starting line is your own front door, you can clock up the miles in your own way and in your own time - whether that’s running, jogging, walking or by wheelchair.
It’s a great way to keep fit and stay motivated toward a goal - and all with the buzz of knowing you’re helping young people get through cancer.
So take on our 28 Mile Challenge this September - and stop cancer stealing young people’s futures.
