Gaming and streaming research volunteer

We’re looking for a volunteer to support the research and identification of potential gaming/streaming prospects. The role will involve 4-5 hours a week working from home and researching gamers/content creators and streamers who might want to fundraise for Teenage Cancer Trust. The role will provide a great chance to support young people with cancer in a unique and new way and help shape our gaming fundraising.

Date:

  • Time: 4-5 hours a week for one month
  • Where: This is a home based role
  • Supported by: Harry from our Innovation team

What will I do?

  • Research potential gamers and streamers who might support Teenage Cancer Trust.
  • Watch Twitch/YouTube to identify prospects.
  • Create a pipeline document that includes who someone is, how we can reach them and why they might support us.

What will I gain?

What skills do I need?

  • Tenacity and enthusiasm                               
  • A keen gamer/content creator who regularly watches content on Twitch or YouTube.
  • Very basic IT skills
  • Research skills desirable
  • You will need internet access and a laptop/phone to conduct research
