Tracy Webb appointed as Director of Services & Impact

Tracy is currently at the Health Foundation where she is the Associate Director of Collaborative Change. This new appointment will help ensure the charity fulfils its mission to improve the experience of every young person with cancer.

Tracy is an experienced senior leader with a strong track record and an impressive breadth of expertise across strategic development, operational management, people leadership, driving innovation and of delivering transformation programmes and digital initiatives.

At the Health Foundation, which she joined in 2016, she leads work to drive collaboration across the health sector, including the Q Improvement Lab which develops new ways of making progress on complex health and care challenges. Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Tracy spent 10 years working in the NHS. She was the Deputy Head of Patient Choice at NHS England where she developed policy and provided support for improving choice and personalisation and has also worked in a number of operational management roles at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, latterly as General Manager for Women’s and Outpatient services.

Tracy is also the Chair of Shepherds Bush Families Project – a charity that helps families who are homeless or living in temporary or unsuitable accommodation and suffer social and economic hardship.

This appointment follows an open selection and recruitment process which included an interview with young people who have experienced cancer and received support from the charity. She will join Teenage Cancer Trust in July 2021.

Every day, seven young people in the UK aged 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust’s world-leading care and support puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond.
