As the ultimate golf fundraiser, a charity tournament has big potential to get the pounds rolling in for a great cause. Get your local club on board and take over the course for the day, with golfers paying a donation fee to enter the challenge. 

Charity golf tournament ideas can include a standard 18-hole game or lots of mini-challenges around the course. Winning should be enough for the proud player with the day’s highest score, but you could approach local companies for prizes – or ask the clubhouse to donate a round of drinks on the house. 

Golf-a-thon 

Do you love golf enough to keep swinging the club for 12, or even 24 hours? Put your passion for the sport to the test with a day-long golf-a-thon and get sponsorship for the challenge, either as an individual or in a group. Do it at your favourite course, driving range, or mini golf centre.
