South East

The Teenage Cancer Trust South East Regional team were delighted to attend The British and Irish Modern Music Institute's graduation ceremony alongside Teenage Cancer Trust honorary patron, Roger Daltrey!

Roger is also the patron of BIMM and was there to congratulate students at the ceremony at the Brighton Dome and encourage their future careers in an ever-changing music industry. He also spoke very passionately about his long relationship with Teenage Cancer Trust.

Amanda Hetherington, Teenage Cancer Trust Regional Fundraiser for the South and South East, attended during the afternoon and met some of the BIMM students and staff, who are incredibly supportive of the outreach work Teenage Cancer Trust is doing at The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton. We recently opened new facilities for young people at The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and one of our specialist Teenage Cancer Trust outreach nurses in the South East is based there

BIMM students attended our 'Teenage Cancer Trust is coming to Brighton' event in June 2018, where they entertained the audience with some fabulous performances.

We're hoping to work with BIMM again in the future to raise awareness and much needed funds to help young people with cancer access the expert treatment and support they need.
