In support of their friend, Jamie, who has been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a group of 10 South-West Londoners have organised a mass head-shave. Taking the concept of ‘new year, new me’ very seriously, the guys have been showing off their new bold look, as a show of solidarity with their friend, but also fantastic way to raise funds and awareness for us.
Their fundraising page picked up huge momentum right from the start, and they were able to raise around £2,000 in just 24 hours! From their start date, on 17 December, until now, they have continued their success, surpassing their initial target of £1,000 to raise a phenomenal £10,720 so far!
Thanks so much to Max Marshall, Will Saunter, Arthur Speak, Chris Waring, Oliver Simpson, Jonathan Morley, Harry Smith, Calum Maclean, Gregor Lockhart-Smith, and Olly Ferrao – AKA Jamie’s Eggheads – for choosing to support us so that we can continue providing our specialist services for young people with cancer. We hope you have invested in some sensibly warm headgear for winter!
