A walk in memory of Jess Thomas
A weekend of fundraising raised an amazing £4,224 in Yeovil, Somerset in memory of teenager Jess Thomas who died in January this year.

A memorial walk took place at Ham Hill Country Park on Saturday, before a fun day was held at Forde Park in Yeovil on Sunday in honour of Jess.
Hundreds of people attended both events to pay tribute to the 18-year-old, with £4,224 being raised for us, and lots more events still planned.
Following the event, Jess’ mum Kath said:
On both days, myself and my family were surrounded by love , support, generosity, fun, friendship and sunshine, and we are just overwhelmed by the amount that was raised, so a huge thank you to all who helped and all who attended.
“We have raised an amazing £4,224 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, and we have decided to keep open her Virgin Money Giving fundraising page and carry on fundraising in her memory.”
