OUTFIT staff nationwide have contributed to this epic total by throwing themselves into a variety of fundraisers including; Fashback, Go Purple for Ronnie, Get Wiggy with it, Music Idol and much more! Not content with just store fundraising and the sale of till point items, staff have also run marathons, 10k’s and Santa Dashes as well as wading through mud - all in aid of the charity.

We could not continue to provide the dedicated specialist care and support for young people with cancer without the incredible passion and commitment of our corporate partners like OUTFIT. The money raised could provide 5,000 hours of vital nursing care by a Teenage Cancer Trust Clinical Nurse specialist.

OUTFIT and Teenage Cancer Trust were a really fantastic brand fit. When looking for a new charity partner, OUTFIT felt that we were a fun but professional team who really understood them, their staff and their customers.

They were also impressed with our engaging, bespoke fundraising and PR campaigns that we had created just for them. For example, we launched the partnership with #Fashback - a store fundraiser focusing on past fashion moments - which not only raised vital funds for the charity but also had a major impact for OUTFIT through social media.

The total reach of the campaign across all social media channels surpassed 570,000 unique users, with 284 new Twitter followers acquired and over 1,000 new page likes for OUTFIT Fashion on Facebook.

OUTFIT also supported Teenage Cancer Trust’s Shunburn campaign with a nationwide fundraiser across all their stores on the 26-27 June 2015, to not only raise vital funds for young people with cancer but also awareness of the importance of sun safety.

Shunburn is Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual sun safety campaign aimed at 13-24 year olds. It educates them about the harm sunburn can do to their skin and the steps they can take to avoid burning. It also highlights that it’s the damage done to the skin when young that could lead to skin cancer developing in later life.

Limited edition sunglasses were sold in all OUTFIT stores, with proceeds going directly to support the charity’s work. Staff were also on hand to give out sun safety advice to help shoppers stay sun-savvy and protect their skin against harmful UV-rays.

The OUTFIT Liverpool store on New Mersey Shopping Park invited a select group of young people, supported by the charity, along to take part in the campaign on the 26 June 2016. With special thanks to OUTFIT they had the opportunity to shop for a new outfit in-store, as well as take home a special goody bag. There was also the chance for them to indulge in a fake tan treatment courtesy of St Moriz, who had a Hawaiian-style Tiki bar set up at the store.
