I’ve not heard of Omaze before, are the prize draws they offer for real?

Yes.  Last year Teenage Cancer Trust was the first UK charity to benefit from a partnership with Omaze on its Million Pound House Draw.   The draw raised £250,000 for our vital work supporting teenagers and young people with cancer, and the house in Cheshire was won by Ian Garrick, a civil servant from Mablethorpe.

How can I find out more about entering Omaze’s prize draws?

The first draw that benefited Teenage Cancer Trust happened in 2020 and you can no longer enter.

We expect to benefit from a second draw in 2021 but a date is not yet confirmed.

In the meantime, Omaze is working with a number of other charities and further details about how to enter other prize draws can be found at www.omaze.com

How much money will / has Omaze raised for Teenage Cancer Trust so far?

The first draw in 2020 raised £250,000, and Omaze has pledged to raise £1m for us over the next three years.

How will the money raised be used by Teenage Cancer Trust?

The money raised will help fund our outstanding nurses who provide care and comfort to young people with cancer, and experienced youth workers to help them cope with emotional distress.   The £250,000 raised so far could pay for over 8,000 hours of nursing support.
