George’s Trust is a family trust created in memory of George O’Brien, who died suddenly aged 17 of acute lymphoblastic lymphoma. The Trust donated £45,000 to the building of Teenage Cancer Trust’s Southampton unit in 2012, a major boost to the final funding of this brilliant space. Following the Trust’s Christmas concert in 2013 they made a further donation of £15,000 to help support our local education programme and raise awareness of cancer with students in the region.
We’re very grateful for their ongoing support to young people with cancer in the region.
Over the past 5 years George's Trust has been very proud to have awarded £60,000 to Teenage Cancer Trust in aid of their amazing Southampton Cancer unit. It is a teenage friendly space in which young people must endure difficult times but in the knowledge that they will receive the highest care in bright, modern surroundings. George's Trust is privileged to be supporting this amazing unit and its outreach projects in this area.
