Teenage Cancer Trust and me

Chapel-en-le-Frith High School has supported Teenage Cancer Trust now for over 15 years and has raised money for the charity annual with a year 10 sponsored walk. We rarely hear the words ‘teenager’ and ‘cancer’ together, so as a secondary school where we educate teenagers we are proud to support this incredible important and wonderful charity.

Teenage Cancer Trust supports, helps and meets the needs of young people suffering with all forms of cancer and makes the serious business of surviving and coping bearable, while keeping life as normal as possible. – Mr Jones, teacher

The challenge

Students from the school took part in a rather muddy sponsored 10k walk in June. As a school we’ve raised over £16,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust over the past few years.
