Frank has been a supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust since visiting and playing to a group of young people with cancer at our Nottingham unit last year. Famous for his vigorously energetic shows, the Kerrang! Award winner’s most recent album Tape Deck Heart rocketed into the charts at number two in 2013, receiving critical acclaim across the board.

In recent years he has also performed at the Olympic opening ceremony with his band as well as headlining shows at both Wembley Arena and the O2 Arena.

Frank said,

I'm honoured to be part of Teenage Cancer Trust’s shows - they're a prestigious institution unto themselves. I'm keeping some amazing company and working to raise money for a great and important cause. It's going to be a special occasion.

2015 marks the 15th anniversary of the very first Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000. Billed as ‘The Who and Friends’ that landmark evening saw Noel GallagherPaul Weller and Kelly Jones join The Who on stage for an incredible one-off performance.

All of these artists are returning this year, continuing their incredible support and celebrating everything these shows have helped to achieve for young people with cancer. They’ll also be joined by the legendary Van Morrison, and one of Britain’s best-loved comedians and Teenage Cancer Trust ambassador, Kevin Bridges. Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls completes the line-up on Sunday 29 March.
