This year we'll be based at some of London’s most iconic landmarks, not just for the picturesque surroundings, but because we know the spots along the marathon route where our runners will need a pick me up from our passionate cheerers! We'll set you up with everything you need to make as much noise as possible, however loud cheering voices are encouraged! Find out more...

We're looking for Volunteer Photographers to help us capture some great images of our runners and cheerers along the route. Who will you be cheering?

Olivia is running the Marathon for us in memory of her younger brother Tom, who died in 2014. "The staff at the unit were by Tom's side and they were by our side," she said. "Without their compassion, strength and expert care our time in hospital would have been unbearable. Not only does Teenage Cancer Trust ensure incredible support and care to patients and families. But they ensure that teenagers with cancer are next to other teenagers with cancer. Tom hated being stuck in bed but this became tolerable in the Teenage Cancer Trust ward because he was surrounded by his peers. Read more...

Max is taking on the Marathon after we supported him through his treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia on our unit at Sheffield's Hallam Hospital. "I remember the moment my doctor said the word 'cancer'. I was devastated. It's said and heard so often, but to someone being diagnosed it's impossible to process," he said. "I want to give something back to say thank you to Teenage Cancer Trust for saving my life." Read more...
