Wednesday 9th December 2020
30 years ago, we set out to change everything for young people with cancer, and that’s exactly what we’ve done, but we haven’t done this alone. On the 9 December, we welcomed over 100 guests, representing 33 of our partners, to our first ever Altogether Unstoppable virtual event to recognise the phenomenal contribution our corporate partners have made to Teenage Cancer Trust. Hosted by Kate Collins, CEO, Paul McKenzie, Director of Fundraising, and Linda Noon, Deputy-Director of Fundraising, we celebrated teams, companies, and initiatives from the past two years.
Coronavirus has hit young people with cancer hard and disrupted our services, but we’ve continued to do everything we can to adapt. We’re keeping young people with cancer connected – with our specialist nurses, our youth support teams, and each other. We’re making sure young people still get one-to-one emotional support with regular texts, video chats and virtual groups so they don’t face cancer alone.
A huge thank you to all of our partners, we are so grateful for your amazing support and it was fantastic to celebrate with so many of you.
Congratulations to all our nominees, highly commended and winners.
