Annual Report 2021
2021 was another challenging year for young people with cancer. Ensuring that their voices were heard and they could get the specialist care and support they needed and deserved was more urgent than ever.
Once again in 2021 the coronavirus pandemic threatened to leave young people with cancer even more vulnerable and isolated. In NHS hospitals across the UK our nurses and Youth Support Coordinators continued to deliver expert care when young people and their families needed it most.
From forging new partnerships and mobilising our amazing community of supporters, to delivering the first all-digital Global Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Congress, we ended 2021 stronger than we started. And our new strategy, Putting Young People First sets out a hugely ambitious goal – that by 2040, young people with cancer in the UK will have the best outcomes and quality of life in the world.
In our Annual Report and Accounts 2021 you can read all about our year, and our determination to build back stronger so we can continue to be there for young people with cancer. You’ll also find detailed information about our work, income and expenditure.
