Robert Smith, The Cure lead singer, to curate 2026 Royal Albert Hall gigs
Robert Smith, the lead singer and co-founder of The Cure, will be taking on the role of guest curator for Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in 2026.
Robert has long been a supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, with The Cure performing two classic shows in 2014, as well as in 2006.
After being asked to by the concerts’ founder, Sir Roger Daltrey, Robert will personally oversee a world-class bill from 23-29 March 2026 - and we just can’t wait to tell you about the artists that will be performing.
Robert Smith, The Cure, said: “Teenage Cancer Trust does the most fantastic work and it is a great honour - and a real thrill - to be asked to curate the 2026 shows at the Royal Albert Hall. I can promise it will be a very memorable week!”

How do we help young people with cancer?
Cancer can tear your teenage and young adult years apart. And without the right support, it can have a devastating impact on the rest of your life.
That’s why we’re here. Through our expert nurses, youth workers, and dedicated hospital units, we provide specialised care and support to help young people get through cancer and rebuild their lives after treatment.
We help young people hold onto their identity, independence and aspirations in the face of cancer. And we bring them together to support each other, making sure they don’t miss out on all the things that make being young special and unique.
When cancer tears your teens apart, we’ll help pick up the pieces.
