The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre was opened in May 2007.

Teenage Cancer Trust fund 1 expert staff member at the unit:

  • Youth Support Coordinator

Teenage Cancer Trust have adopted 1 expert staff member at the unit:

  •   Advanced Teenage and Young Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist

We also fund a national Lead Nurse for Scotland and a TYA Multi-disciplinary Team co-ordinator in partnership with the Managed Service Network (MSN) for Children and Young People with Cancer.

They ensure the best possible quality care is given so that the young person is treated as a young person first and cancer patient second.
