The Chester Metric Marathon is the perfect stepping stone from a half marathon to a full marathon!
The 26.2 mile route is on closed roads taking runners past Chester’s iconic landmarks before heading out to the stunning Cheshire countryside and villages.
This event is part of the Triple Chester Series which also includes the Chester 10k and half marathon.

The Chester Metric Marathon is on closed roads taking runners past Chester’s iconic landmarks before heading out to the stunning Cheshire countryside and villages.
After joining the marathon runners at Churton you begin the return journey, coming into Chester alongside the River Dee for an unforgettable finish on Castle Drive.
