Join us at Scotland’s biggest running festival over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, and be part of the team that gets young people through cancer.
Voted the UK’s fastest marathon by Runners World, Edinburgh Marathon Festival is flat, fast, and perfect for a personal best! Starting in Edinburgh, the course heads out through East Lothian offering stunning views and an unforgettable running experience.
Throughout the weekend you can take part in a:
- Marathon: £15 registration fee with a £500 minimum sponsorship target
- Half marathon: £15 registration fee with a £250 minimum sponsorship target.
- 10k: £10 registration fee with a £100 minimum sponsorship target.
- 5k: £10 registration fee with a £50 minimum sponsorship target.
- Four-person marathon relay: purchase your own place in the event and run for Teenage Cancer Trust.

The difference you'll make
Today in the UK, seven young people aged 13-24 will hear the words: “you have cancer.”
It’s most likely the toughest and scariest thing they’ve ever faced – and it takes an unstoppable team to get them through it.
By taking on a challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, you become part of the team – because the money you raise helps fund our specialist hospital units, nurses and youth workers.
Your support means young people don’t face cancer alone. You’re helping make sure they have the best expert care from a friendly, dedicated team, alongside others their age they can relate to.
We’re the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer – and we receive no government funding, so we couldn’t do it without you.
