Why support Teenage Cancer Trust

A young person talking with a Teenage Cancer Trust nurse

We create world class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced.

We’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need. By choosing to game for Teenage Cancer Trust, you can help us to reach every young person facing cancer and make a huge difference.

So you know we’re the real deal, these are our registered charity details: 1062559 (England & Wales), SC039757 (Scotland).

Gaming is a good distraction for young people. And it shows their friends that they are still there, and still them.

Cancer doesn’t just affect young people physically – it can have a huge impact on every other part of their life too. Our Youth Support Coordinators are there to help young people deal with that impact, and connect with others their age so they don’t feel alone.
