Walk Through History – And Help Young People Face Cancer
Lace up for a unique walking challenge through some of London’s hidden historic gems – and help transform the lives of young people with cancer.
The London Summer Walk explores the eastern stretch of the Thames, packed with lesser-known sights and stories from the capital’s past. Starting by the grand Woolwich Barracks – just a short walk from the Elizabeth Line, DLR and Overground – this late summer adventure has something for everyone.
Take on the full Marathon loop, a 25km route through Greenwich, or a shorter but scenic 10km option. However far you go, you’ll be raising funds to support young people when cancer turns their world upside down.
With a fun warm-up, expert support, regular rest stops with snacks & drinks, and a BBQ, bar & live music waiting at the finish line – this isn’t just a challenge, it’s a celebration!
You’ll also get a finisher’s medal, T-shirt, and the incredible feeling of making a difference.
