Stride Across the South Downs – Every Step Supports Young People with Cancer

Take on the rolling hills, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping sea views of the South Downs National Park – and help Teenage Cancer Trust be there for every young person who needs them.

Join over 2,000 adventurers on a spectacular route from Eastbourne, climbing up to Beachy Head, across the iconic Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way to the halfway point in Brighton. From there, it’s on to Devil’s Dyke, through classic downland landscapes, before the finish line in the historic town of Arundel – an incredible 100km journey.

Take it on at your own pace – walk, jog, or run – and choose your challenge: the full 100km, or a 50km half or 25km quarter option. Go solo or rally a team – and raise vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust with every kilometre.

You’ll get full support throughout – with pit stops, hot meals, snacks, drinks, medical support, and optional camping & transfers. At the finish, celebrate with a special medal, T-shirt, and an experience you’ll never forget.

Why support Teenage Cancer Trust

Young person on hospital bed talking with Teenage Cancer Trust nurse

We create world class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced.

We’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need. By choosing to run for Teenage Cancer Trust, you can help us to reach every young person facing cancer and make a huge difference.

So you know we’re the real deal, these are our registered charity details: 1062559 (England & Wales), SC039757 (Scotland).
