Since Teenage Cancer Trust began in 1990, we’ve transformed cancer care for young people. Our 28 units across the UK don’t feel like hospital – they’re bright, friendly spaces where young people are treated alongside others their own age who know what it feels like when a cancer diagnosis turns your world upside down.

And our 100+ Nurses and Youth Workers are specially trained to support young people through cancer treatment and its impact on their mental health, body image, work or studies, friendships and family - all things that are hard enough anyway when you’re young.

Each year, we support more than 2,000 newly diagnosed young people across the UK, and their families - but we still can’t reach everyone who needs our help.

We receive no government funding, so the generous support of the public through campaigns like the Omaze Million Pound House Draw is vital to help keep our services running and make sure no young person faces cancer alone.
