Racecourse Media Group - Raceday Cheltenham bucket collection
We’re looking for volunteers to bucket collect and take contactless donations at a Racecourse Media Group Raceday in Cheltenham Racecourse on Friday 23 October 2026
Join our team of volunteers and raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust so we can make sure no young person has to face cancer alone.
The minimum age for this opportunity is 18 years of age.
When? Friday 23 October 3.30pm-6pm
Where: Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL50 4SH
Timings: Your volunteering shift is 3.30pm-6pm when racegoers are leaving the enclosure.
You are welcome to attend from Midday to watch the races as you will have a ticket to enter the racing. You will need to buy your own food and drinks at the racecourse.

What will I do?
- Collect donations from the guests as they are leave and after the Raceday has finished at the exit gates to the venue
- Help raise awareness and engage the public with our work, simply by being there in our branding
- Be a friendly and approachable face of the charity
What will I gain?
- Support at the event from a dedicated member of Teenage Cancer Trust Regional Fundraising team.
- A ticket to enter the racecourse and watch the racing until your volunteer shift starts at 3.30pm
- Ultimately help Teenage Cancer Trust to make sure every young person with cancer gets the best care and support
- A Teenage Cancer Trust t-shirt
- You can claim up to £25 per volunteer per day for travel expenses please keep your receipts. An expenses form will be sent to you in a thank you email after the event.
