The Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow
The Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow was opened in June 2015.
Teenage Cancer Trust funds one expert staff member at the unit:
We also fund a national Lead Nurse for Scotland and a Teenage and Young Adult Multi-disciplinary Team Coordinator in partnership with the Managed Service Network (MSN) for Children and Young People with Cancer.
They ensure the best possible quality care is given so that each young person is treated as a young person first and cancer patient second.
