Take on this challenge to raise vital money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
We create world class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don't have to face cancer alone.
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words "you have cancer". They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced.
We're the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need. So you know we're the real deal, this is our registered charity details: 1062559 (England & Wales), SC039757 (Scotland).

A. Firstly, join the Facebook Group we set up for this challenge...
Click 'Join Group'. Once you're in, you can get your T shirt, get tips, be inspired and find out anything you want to know about the challenge!
Q. How do I get my free t-shirt?
A. Unfortunately we have now closed t-shirt registrations for this event.
Q. How long will my T-shirt take to arrive?
A. It will take 14 days for your t-shirt to arrive. Please be patient and be assured we will get them to you as soon as possible.
Q. Can my t-shirt be exchanged?
A. If you received a different size to the one you ordered then we will be able to send you a new t-shirt. Otherwise we will unfortunately be unable to exchange your top.
Q. Can under 18s join the Facebook Group?
A. No, sorry. To join the Facebook Group, you need to be over 18. Facebook fundraisers can only be set up by over 18s. If you wish to take part and are under 18 please ask a parent or guardian and fundraise through JustGiving.
Q. What types of images are allowed on the Facebook group?
We recognise that lots of you will want to post before and after photos of your results from the squat challenge, but we want to make sure that all imagery is suitable, and not offensive or provocative.
Therefore, we ask that each of you follow these simple guidelines when posting photos, otherwise we’re afraid that your post won’t be approved or may be removed.
Super simple imagery checklist!
- Clothing – we ask everyone to be fully clothed. Gym wear and leggings are absolutely fine but posts in swimwear or lingerie are not considered appropriate for this group.
- Angles – please be mindful of the camera angles used. Please only use camera angles from the side, front or back.
Q. Will I receive a medal?
A. We are only sending out a free T-shirts for this challenge. You’ll be able to download a digital medal in the Facebook Group.
Q. How do I keep track of how much I've done?
A. That’s up to you, a good old-fashioned pen and paper will do or make a note on your phone. You can always ask in the Facebook group for ideas! There are loads of apps out there and you’ll get good advice in the Facebook group.
Q. Do I need to provide evidence to the charity that I’ve done the squats?
A. We trust you! You don’t need to provide evidence that you’ve completed the challenge to us. Updating your friends and family on your fundraising page is important! Make sure you keep them posted on your progress and share videos and photos, the more the better.
Q. What if I don't complete the challenge?
A. The only thing that matters is that you challenge yourself. Do as much as you can. Every squat helps.
Q. How do I raise money?
A. Facebook Fundraisers are the easiest way to raise money. You can set one up in a few seconds. And then it's simple: just share the page with your Facebook friends!
Q. Do I have to fundraise?
A. There is no minimum fundraising target but we do encourage participants to set up a Facebook Fundraising page to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Then just share the page with your Facebook friends ! You might be surprised by the amount of donations; we really appreciate every squat and every penny raised to help young people with Cancer.
Q. Can people donate who don’t have Facebook?
A. Of course, but you’ll have to take the donation directly from them and add it to your own page. Please note, the donation will not be added to your fundraising total on Facebook.
Q. If someone donates offline/not on my Facebook fundraising page can this be added to my fundraising total on Facebook?
A. No, unfortunately there is no way of doing this. The only way that you could do this would be write a thank you post on your fundraiser to thank the individual. But this would still not add to the total.
Q. Why isn't a donation showing on my page?
A. If you use the ‘donate’ button on Facebook then the donation will go directly to Teenage Cancer Trust. It will not go on your page. If you would like it to be added to your page you will need to only share your fundraising page link.
Q.I’ve got two fundraising pages. Can I combine the two?
A. Unfortunately, there is no current way of merging two Facebook fundraising pages. But 100% of all the money donated on both will go straight to Teenage Cancer Trust. As an alternative you can set one page to expire soon, and post on the other the amount fundraised on your expired page so that you only have one to share, but the totals will not add up.
Q. Can I raise money on Just Giving or another platform?
A. We’d prefer you raise the money through Facebook Fundraisers but if that doesn’t work for you it’s not a problem. You can always set up a JustGiving page.
Q. Where will my friends' money go?
A. Directly to Teenage Cancer Trust. You don't have to worry about this. It happens automatically.
Q. Can I start late or early?
A. Of course!
Q. Can I just raise money offline with a sponsorship form?
A. If you would like a sponsorship form please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0207 612 0370.
A. Please send us your sponsorship forms and cheque made payable to Teenage Cancer Trust to:

And we appreciate every single squat you do to help young people with cancer.

Then click the photo/video button to upload the video from your computer or phone, and you can add a description to the video at the top.
We love hearing how everyone is getting on, but you don’t need to prove to us that you have completed the challenge, we trust you.
