Cancer services for children, teenagers and young adults in the UK are changing.

Recently, we’ve seen developments in cancer care in Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland, all of which recognise that children, teenagers and young adults with cancer have specific needs, but at the same time the NHS is under increasing pressure.Improvements have been made in cancer services across the UK, but progress still needs to be made in key area of experience for children, teenagers and young adults, including earlier diagnosis, access to age-appropriate services and post-treatment support. The APPG will help decision-makers across the UK understand what matters most to young people with cancer and support them to deliver it.

As experts in children and young people’s cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust and CLIC Sargent have partnered up to provide the Secretariat for the Group. This means that we support the MPs and Peers to meet, provide administrative support, coordinate events and act as the main point of contact.
